Dave Grohl (Dave Grohl) needs a tenth Foo Fighters album, and his label wants it finished. So the band moves into an Encino mansion with a grisly rock and roll history, and he sets up the recording there. BJ McDonnell films the five of them, Taylor Hawkins (Taylor Hawkins) and Nate Mendel (Nate Mendel) among them, as bandmates of long standing, the sort who bicker over a riff and still follow each other into a haunted house.
