Sturgill Simpson Presents Sound & Fury

A lone driver, never named and never explained, takes his car into a postapocalyptic wasteland, bound for a fight with two monstrous opponents. Koji Morimoto and Masaru Matsumoto draw the road in anime, with each stretch of it set to a song from Sturgill Simpson's album. The driver keeps going toward the showdown, and the film never tells us what he thinks he is owed.
