Subconscious Cruelty

Four short horror films play out like a single feverish night: a woman on a slab, a businessman and his doppelganger, a sister, a hand in a glove. Karim Hussain filmed the segments over nearly six years, from February 1994 to December 1999, and the film first screened in Sitges, Spain, in October 2000. Mitch Davis, its producer, also appears on screen as the gloved hand, held in the frame.
