George Grieves (Tom Cavanagh) checks into Mt. Abaddon Hospital for a routine procedure, expecting to be home soon. Instead the doctors tell him his condition is far more serious than anyone thought, and his own fears begin to take shape around him in the corridors. Tony Krantz's film rests on one plain idea: a hospital is supposed to be where people come to get better, and this one is where they come to die.
