Suburban Girl

“Rewriting her dream in the big city.”

Brett Eisenberg (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is a publishing assistant who wants to be a big-time editor and can't quite believe she's allowed to want it. Marc Klein follows her into a relationship with Archie (Alec Baldwin), an older man whose drinking and diabetes sit alongside a strained bond with his daughter. Brett turns to her dying father for advice, and the film is about what we owe the people we try to fix.
