“Rome will fall”

A gangster called Samurai (Claudio Amendola) wants to turn the Rome waterfront into a new Las Vegas, and every local crime boss has signed on to the plan. The deal runs through Filippo Malgradi (Pierfrancesco Favino), a politician in Rome in 2011, and Stefano Sollima follows it across the nights it takes to hold together. The film puts organized crime and government in the same room and shows the two working as one business.
