Deadshot (Will Smith) is a hired killer who wants out of his cell and back to his daughter, and Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) offers him a deal. She is assembling a team of imprisoned supervillains, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) among them, to carry out black ops missions for the U.S. government in exchange for shorter sentences. David Ayer sends them out under Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), with their freedom and their lives on the line.
