Sultan

Sultan (Türkan Şoray) is a young widow in a Turkish slum, raising her orphaned children alone and holding herself with a dignity no one around her can take away. Kartal Tibet follows her through the neighborhood, where the grocer Bakkal Bahtiyar (Şener Şen), the midwife Ebe Hatice (Adile Naşit) and the village head Muhtar (İhsan Yüce) all watch her pass. Kemal (Bulut Aras), the sheriff's son, loves her and sets out to draw her.
