Summer 1993

“A new family. A new world.”

Six-year-old Frida (Laia Artigas) has been told her mother is gone, and she can't make that fit with anything around her. She is sent to the countryside to live with her uncle Esteve (David Verdaguer), his wife Marga (Bruna Cusí) and their small daughter Anna, strangers who are meant to become her family. Carla Simón follows the summer of 1993, with a grieving child and a new household both trying to make room, and every day tests whether that can hold.
