Summer in Berlin

“That‘s the real life!”

Katrin (Inka Friedrich) is a woman in Berlin who has fallen out of step with her own life, and her friend Nike (Nadja Uhl) is not doing much better. Andreas Dresen follows the two of them through a summer of trouble with men and with ordinary days that refuse to go their way. They lean on each other and try to build a life on their own terms, and the question is whether that can hold.
