Summer of 85

“Whoever dies first, the other promises to dance on his grave.”

The summer holidays are just beginning in a Normandy seaside resort in the 1980s, and sixteen-year-old Alexis (Félix Lefebvre) is looking for a best friend. François Ozon follows him into a pact with David (Benjamin Voisin), a boy with a boat and a motorbike who lives life at breakneck speed. Alexis stands at the edge of the coast, looking out, already thinking about how it all might end.
