Summer Wars

“Always protect your network.”

Kenji Koiso (Ryunosuke Kamiki) is a shy eleventh-grade math prodigy who takes a summer job in Nagano because the girl he likes, Natsuki (Hitomi Miyauchi), asked him. Her sprawling family has gathered for the 90th birthday of its matriarch, and Natsuki's request is that Kenji pose as her fiancé. Mamoru Hosoda follows him through a crowded house and a collision with a virtual world, where a puzzle he solved late one night has left him as the one everyone blames.
