Summertime

Delphine (Izïa Higelin) leaves her family's farm for Paris in 1971, and a chance meeting there draws her toward Carole (Cécile de France), a leading voice in the city's feminist movement. What begins as a friendship turns into a passionate affair, and she has to decide how much of her old life she can carry along. Catherine Corsini shoots the courtship in warm, close light, then follows it back toward the countryside.
