Sun and Concrete

Lukas (Levy Rico Arcos) is a teenager in Berlin-Gropiusstadt who gets through each day with three friends, among them Gino (Rafael Luis Klein-Hessling), in a neighborhood of drugs, gangs, rap and a lot of dead time. Money is short for all of them, and they settle on a plan that seems certain to work. David Wnendt adapts Felix Lobrecht's autobiographically inspired novel and keeps the camera at the boys' eye level, in the middle of their daily routine.
