Sun Children

In Tehran, twelve-year-old Ali (Roohollah Zamani) and his three friends spend their days in a garage and on petty crimes, earning whatever they can to feed their families. When Ali is entrusted with finding treasure hidden underground, the gang can only reach the tunnel by enrolling at the Sun School, a charity for street kids and child laborers. Majid Majidi follows Ali through the classroom doors, a boy who came for the money and now sits among the lessons.
