Sundays

Ainara (Blanca Soroa), a teenager in the Basque Country, tells her family she wants to join a cloistered convent, and no one at the table can say where the idea came from. Her father (Miguel Garcés) is distracted, her aunt Maite (Patricia López Arnaiz) asks too many questions, and the school nuns may or may not be behind it. Alauda Ruiz de Azúa keeps the focus on Ainara and Maite, an aunt and niece who each need the other to explain.
