“Can love stand the test of time?”

Marco (Alessandro Borghi) and Anna (Jasmine Trinca) are a couple in love who keep losing ground to the years, and the film never tells that story in order. It moves back and forth across a decade of their life together, from the early days to the strained ones, with Pilar (Greta Scarano) and Vittorio (Vinicio Marchioni) among the people around them. Paolo Genovese cuts between the years freely, so the early days and the later ones sit side by side.
