“The Man of Steel meets his match!”

Three prisoners from Krypton, freed from the Phantom Zone, land on Earth with powers no one down here can match. General Zod (Terence Stamp), Ursa (Sarah Douglas) and Non (Jack O'Halloran) want the planet and the man whose home they once shared. Superman (Christopher Reeve) has to stop them while Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) is close enough to be caught in the fight, and Richard Lester keeps the pace quick.
