Cody Maverick (Jeremy Shada) is a young penguin surfer who has the board and the nerve, and he's still working out how to ride a wave beside other people. He sets out with Chicken Joe (Jon Heder) and Lani Aliikai (Melissa Sturm) for the most legendary surfing spot on the planet. Henry Yu sends them toward it with the Hang Five, a dream team of surfers who are going to test every one of them.
