Surveillance

A killer is working the Nebraska plains, and the only people who saw him and lived are three would-be victims, each telling a story that doesn't match the others. FBI agents Elisabeth Anderson (Julia Ormond) and Sam Hallaway (Bill Pullman) arrive to take their accounts, one after another. Jennifer Lynch sets the two agents against each other as the statements pile up, until what each of them wants from the case counts for more than the case.
