“The most shocking episode in the history of human survival.”

A plane carrying a Uruguayan rugby team goes down in the Andes, and the survivors are left on a mountainside with no way of knowing if anyone is looking for them. René Cardona follows Francisco Pedraza (Hugo Stiglitz) and Silvia Pedraza (Norma Lazareno) through the extreme cold as the group's numbers drop. The film shows how little time starvation gives a person to hold onto what they believe is right.
