Suspect X

Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama) is a physicist who consults on the police cases of Detective Kaoru Utsumi (Ko Shibasaki). Her newest one is a dead man with a smashed face and burned hands, strangled before anyone tried to hide him. Every lead runs into the same alibi and the quiet neighbor behind it. Hiroshi Nishitani films the case as a procedure, one small clue laid down after another.
