Suzaki Paradise: Red Light District

Tsutae (Michiyo Aratama) and her jobless boyfriend end up on the edge of the Suzaki red-light district in Tokyo, with no money and nowhere else to go. She talks her way into pouring sake at a small bar run by an older woman, while he gets sent to a noodle shop to deliver orders on foot. Yūzō Kawashima builds this from their small, scraping choices, and each one pulls the two further apart.
