Suzume

“On the other side of the door, was time in its entirety.”

Suzume Iwato (Nanoka Hara) is seventeen and lost her mother when she was small. On her way to school she meets a young stranger, Souta Munakata (Hokuto Matsumura), and her curiosity sets loose a calamity that threatens all of Japan. Makoto Shinkai sends the two across the country to close the doors that let the earthquake-causing worm through, and Suzume goes after them with her hand on the knob.
