Sweeney Todd

“The demon barber of Fleet Street.”

Men go into the barbershop on Fleet Street and are not seen again. Sweeney Todd (Ray Winstone) runs the shop in Victorian London, and Mrs Lovett (Essie Davis) is the woman who shares his business. David Moore adapts the old penny dreadful for the BBC, with Winstone's Todd standing at his chair, razor in hand, a man who has settled into killing as his trade.
