Sweet Charity

“Love is what it's all about!”

Charity (Shirley MacLaine) dances with strangers for a living at a Times Square dance hall, and she still believes the next man through the door might be the one to take her out of it. Bob Fosse, who also choreographed, puts her among her friends Nickie (Chita Rivera) and Helene (Paula Kelly), who have stopped waiting. Then Oscar (John McMartin) appears, and Charity starts to hope again.
