Sweet Dreams

Michele Apicella (Nanni Moretti) is a young Italian filmmaker who feels nobody understands his work and wants no part of the industry around him. He is stuck on a film about Freud's mother, while a colleague is making a musical about the student protests of '68. Moretti, who also wrote the film, plays Michele's insecurity as a run of unsettling nightmares and keeps the whole thing dry.
