Sweet River

“A mother's love can't be buried.”

Hanna (Lisa Kay) drives into the sleepy town of Billins looking for her son's body, and the locals she questions give answers that don't hold together. Justin McMillan sets the search against a town that seems to want her gone, with John Drake (Martin Sacks) and Elenor Drake (Geneviève Lemon) among the people she has to ask. She keeps digging, a woman alone with her grief and a small town's secrets, and the dead do not stay quiet either.
