Sweet Virginia

A string of killings breaks the quiet of a small town, and Sam Rossi (Jon Bernthal), a former rodeo star who now manages a motel, ends up face to face with the young man behind them. Jamie M. Dagg keeps the film slow and close, in the lowered voices of people who know each other too well. The motel gives the two men a reason to keep talking, and between them grows a wary, unwanted understanding.
