“The man who changed the game.”

Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton (Everett Osborne) is driving a taxi in Chicago in 1990 when his passenger, a sportswriter (Jim Caviezel), gets him talking about his past. The man behind the wheel turns out to be one of the first Black players in the NBA. Martin Guigui builds the film from that one ride, with Ned Irish (Cary Elwes) waiting in the story as the owner who can make or break his place in the league.
