Swept Away

“Paradise makes strange bedfellows.”

A chartered cruise on the Mediterranean puts wealthy Amber Leighton (Madonna) on a yacht with her husband Tony (Bruce Greenwood), all of them bored and sun-struck. Guy Ritchie strands her on a desert island with Giuseppe (Adriano Giannini), the deckhand she treats as furniture. With no yacht and no one to give orders to, a haughty woman and a man she has insulted must live side by side, and a cruel kind of attraction takes hold between them.
