Swing Girls

“Girls meet jazz!”

Tomoko Suzuki (Juri Ueno) and her classmates carry bento boxes to the school's brass band during a summer break from remedial classes, and the lunches leave the whole band sick. With no one else to fill the gap, the girls pick up the abandoned instruments themselves. Shinobu Yaguchi follows them as they teach themselves big band jazz, and the one fixed date they have to reach is a concert they cannot yet play.
