Sword of the Stranger

Nanashi (Tomoya Nagase) is a wandering rōnin who has sworn off drawing his sword, until a young orphan named Kotaro (Yuri Chinen) and his dog stumble into his path with Chinese swordsmen close behind. Masahiro Ando animates the fights at Bones with a speed that never lets the dust settle. Through all of it, Nanashi walks the road with his blade bound in cloth, and the boy and the dog keep walking beside him.
