Sword of the Valiant: The Legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

“Only the Brave or the Foolish dared to play the Green Knight's deadly game...”

The Green Knight (Sean Connery) bursts into King Arthur's court and offers a game to any knight brave enough to take it. Gawain (Miles O'Keeffe), still a squire, steps forward and sets off across the land, rescuing damsels and working at the Green Knight's riddle. Stephen Weeks, who had already filmed this legend once in 1973, adapts the old poem loosely, with Trevor Howard as the King and Cyrielle Clair as Linet.
