Sworn Virgin

Hana (Alba Rohrwacher) left her family in the mountains of Albania years ago and swore to live as a man, and now she steps off in Milan intending to live as a woman again. Laura Bispuri follows her through the first weeks in the city, where her niece Jonida (Emily Ferratello) and her cousin Lila (Flonja Kodheli) have to make room for her. She stands in the doorway of an unfamiliar apartment, the mountains behind her, still known to the people in it as Mark.
