At Gwalior Fort in 1857, Lakshmibai, Rani of Jhansi, tries to steady her despairing men by telling them about Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi). He was a Telugu chieftain who took up arms in 1846 against the arbitrary rule and crimes of the East India Company. Surender Reddy follows his fight from the Rayalaseema region, with Avukuraju (Kichcha Sudeepa) and Rajapaandi (Vijay Sethupathi) beside him, against an empire's soldiers.
