Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance

“Revenge was never this sweet.”

Ryu (Shin Ha-kyun) is a deaf factory worker who needs a kidney for his sister, and he has run out of legal ways to pay for one. His girlfriend Yeong-mi (Bae Doona) has a plan to raise the money, and he goes along with it. Park Chan-wook keeps the two of them close together, and what holds them is how much each is willing to give up for the other.
