Take Care of Your Scarf, Tatjana

Two Finnish men who have left their mothers' homes drive the back roads with no destination, until they agree to take an Estonian woman and a Russian woman to a harbor. Reino (Matti Pellonpää) and Valto (Mato Valtonen) are shy, middle-aged and unaccomplished, while Tatjana (Kati Outinen) and Klavdia (Kirsi Tykkyläinen) have a ferry to reach. Aki Kaurismäki leaves the stakes very small: a few hours in a car, and four people who barely speak.
