Take the Money and Run

“crime lives!”

A documentary crew has gathered the neighbors, the family and the cellmates to explain how Virgil Starkwell (Woody Allen) came to be a criminal at all. Virgil is set on a reputation as a bank robber and has none of the skill for it, which Woody Allen presents as the plain record of his life. With Louise (Janet Margolin) in his corner, Virgil has everything riding on getting the next job right.
