Retired CIA officer Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) takes a vacation in Istanbul with his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) and his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace). He and Lenore are seized by a man whose son Bryan killed years before, a debt the father intends to collect. Bryan has minutes to escape, find his family, and get them out before the city closes in.
