Tales from the Golden Age
The Secretary (Alexandru Potocean) is a small-town Party official whose village has just been told that an inspector is coming to see it. Six stories drawn from the last fifteen years of Ceaușescu's rule are told as urban myths, as ordinary Romanians passed them around, with Cristian Mungiu among the directors. The Mayor (Teodor Corban) and the Party Inspector (Emanuel Pârvu) turn up in the first, and the Secretary has to get everything ready in time.
