“Why Always The Same Story?”

Ved Sahni (Ranbir Kapoor) is a talkative, restless young man who wants nothing more than to be someone else for a while. On vacation in Corsica he meets Tara Maheshwari (Deepika Padukone), and they agree to hide their real names and lives from each other. Imtiaz Ali follows them back to Delhi years later, where Tara finds the man she knew is gone, and the version of Ved she meets now is one he may not be able to keep.
