Tammy and the Bachelor

“All about a little Mississippi riverboat gal who taught a sophisticated bachelor about love!”

Tammy Tyree (Debbie Reynolds), a barefoot girl who has lived all her life on a Mississippi swamp houseboat, walks into the world of Peter Brent (Leslie Nielsen), an unconventional southern gentleman with a grand family home. Joseph Pevney keeps the pace easy while she meets his relatives. Tammy speaks plainly, trusts everyone, and has to learn what her kind of honesty means among people who live by manners.
