“In the future, the odds of survival are 1000 to 1. That's just the way she likes it.”

In 2033, years after a comet knocked the rain cycle off course, Australia is a dry, barren desert where Kesslee (Malcolm McDowell) and his Water & Power Corporation decide who gets water. Rebecca, known as Tank Girl (Lori Petty), and her partner Jet Girl (Naomi Watts) are outlaws who won't kneel to him, so they join the Rippers, genetically modified supersoldiers. Rachel Talalay's film comes down to who controls the water and who is willing to take it back.
