Tarantula

“More terrifying than any horror known to man comes a creeping crawling monster whose towering fury no one can escape!”

Dr. Matt Hastings (John Agar), the doctor in a small desert town, wants to know how a lab assistant died of acromegaly in only four days. His questions lead him to Prof. Gerald Deemer (Leo G. Carroll), a scientist working on a nutrient to feed a growing population, and to Deemer's new assistant, Stephanie Clayton (Mara Corday). Jack Arnold keeps the town small and the cattle disappearing, and Matt keeps asking after the dead man.
