Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo

“Terror has 8 legs.”

A cargo plane loaded with coffee beans goes down near a small California citrus town, and the crash lets loose a swarm of aggressive South American tarantulas. Deaths pile up before anyone knows the cause, and Bert Springer (Claude Akins) and Joe Harmon (Charles Frank) trace it as the spiders head for the orange-processing factory. Stuart Hagmann shoots it in grainy 1977 television film stock, with the factory floor waiting at the end of the swarm's path.
