Taste of Cherry

“Do you want to give up the taste of cherries?”

Mr. Badii (Homayoun Ershadi) is a middle-aged man in Tehran who has decided to end his life and needs one thing first: someone to bury him afterward. Abbas Kiarostami follows him as he drives the city's edges in his Range Rover, offering the job to a soldier, a seminarian and a stranger, each of whom answers him differently. When Mr. Bagheri (Abdolrahman Bagheri) agrees, the two men settle into a conversation neither one expected.
