“Three stories. Three generations. Three men. One bizarre and shocking universe.”

Vendel Morosgoványi (Csaba Czene) is an orderly serving a young lieutenant and his wife during the Second World War, and he has nothing but hunger and desire to call his own. György Pálfi follows his family through three generations: his son Kálmán (Gergely Trócsányi) wants success, and his grandson Lajos (Marc Bischoff) wants to outlast death. Each man chases his one appetite, and the film treats Hungary's decades as an ordeal the body has to swallow.
