Team America: World Police

“Freedom hangs by a thread.”

Gary Johnston (Trey Parker) is a Broadway actor with a past he can't shake, and he wants a part that matters. Team America, a heavily armed unit that polices the world, recruits him to help stop Kim Jong-il's terrorist plot. Trey Parker shoots the whole thing with marionettes on tiny sets, their strings in plain view, and the Film Actors Guild waiting on the other side.
