“Same surf. New turf.”

It is 2015, and the characters of the 1960s beach musical "Wet Side Story" have wandered out of their movie and into the real world, where nothing runs on song cues. Brady (Ross Lynch) and Mack (Maia Mitchell), the two teens who know the film best, have to get everyone back where they belong. Jeffrey Hornaday returns as director, and Mack carries the job of sending home the friends she has grown to love.
